A KUKA robot controller is simulated in real time using an offline programming system (OPS, office PC). The system complies with the relevant safety regulations for information technology facilities.

The Offline Programming System can be used in office environments and robot workshops for the following activities:

• creation of robot programs
• optimization of existing robot programs
• simulations of robot controls
• Preparing HDDs/SSDs

The KUKA USB stick (not bootable) has a storage capacity of 16 GB and has its own KUKA firmware. It can be used on a KUKA controller for data archiving or for installing KUKA technology options.
